LIS scrap shear features

Highly straight and rigid construction

  • A honeycomb structure made up of edged profiles in the press box, wing and lid offer maximum resistance to forces applied eccentrically when compacting. Hinges dimensioned for immense safety reserves compensate effortlessly even for point loads.
  • A very strong pusher with edged cover to ensure straight run-out when baling and feeding forward.
  • Despite a low installation height, the rigid closed construction of the shear frame allows optimum absorption of the reaction forces when cutting.

Intelligent systems for optimum processing sequences
  • Non-contact, integrated path-measuring sensors in the stamper/shearing cylinder, laser-controlled monitoring of the pusher cylinder, and rotary potentiometers at the lid and wing.
  • Exactly the same as the well-proven technology of the EtaCut scrap shear: the adjustable prismatic guidance (V-guidance) of the blade slide to transfer the force precisely.
  • Only from Lindemann in this class; the lid closes to 104 instead of 90 degrees. The scrap leg is compressed more than usual and wear is minimized when feeding forward.
  • A number of programs for various types of scrap can be selected at the press of a button: full stroke, partial stroke, relative stroke and, of course, baling.

Materials that are extremely wear-resistant, plus simple replacement of those parts that are subject to wear.
  • All the parts are made of high hard-wearing Lindur in the areas where wear is critical.
  • Wear in the blade slide can be compensated for by means of adjustable external guides.
  • Wherever it is technically possible, the wear plates are bolted and protect the parts subject to the most wear. For example, the front plate of the pusher, the stripper ledge on the floor or the plates in the stamper area can be replaced very easily.
