Sloped vibratory screeners with single motor vibrator VSFor wet and dry - screening and scalping
![]() Model VS-2448-1 shown with 1 HP, 1200 RPM, motor vibrator, grizzly bar deck and coil isolation springs. Designed to remove foreign objects from reclaimed oily cast iron chips. Model VS Low Cost Sloped Gravity Screener is used primarily for rough scalping and sizing applications. Units are installed at a 20 to 30 degree downslope. One top mounted motor is employed. Isolation mounts are either coil springs or air mounts. Support bases are optional. Five (5) sizes of units are offered in 1, 2 and 3 deck designs. Adjustable angle brackets allow adjustment to any slope required. The most unique feature about the model "VS" screener is the flexibility offered in motor vibrator drive selection. For fine screening applications requiring a higher frequency action, an 1800 RPM drive can be selected. For coarser, larger screen openings, a 1200 or 900 RPM drive can be applied, offering greater amplitude. Sharp omni-directional forces are imparted to the screen deck dislodging near size particles. Motors can be arranged for "with-flow" or "counter-flow" rotation. With-flow rotation offers greater capacity while counter-flow rotation provides longer product retention, better product stratification, and higher fines removal efficiency. Amplitude of screener is easily adjusted on BEST INC.'s heavy duty, self-contained motor vibrator. Optional features include: bottom fines pan, dust covers, special inlets and outlets, and dust boots. |
